Student Paper & Poster Awards

  • Poster:

This year, for the first time, we plan to offer an award for the best undergraduate and graduate student poster. Submissions are due by January 31, 2014. All submitted student posters, including those with multiple authors, will be considered.

  • Paper:

REMINDER: We are offering an award for student papers in the graduate and undergraduate categories. Papers must be less than 10,000 words in length, be of publishable quality, and written in American Antiquity or American Anthropologist style. We suggest the paper addresses how the topic relates to this year’s conference theme, “Anthropologists Connecting.” Each paper will be reviewed by a committee and winners will be awarded a $150 cash prize at the banquet dinner on March 28. The Journal of Northwest Anthropology has agreed to publish the winning graduate level paper.
