University Community Listening Sessions
Nearly 1,000 WWU students, faculty, and staff said in a recent community survey that we all have some work to do when it comes to fostering an inclusive environment, building a broader sense of belonging, and making our people feel more valued.
This work is among the top missions of the new Office of Equity, and one of the first steps we’re taking is to listen to you.
Talk to us
WWU’s Office of Equity is kickstarting a series of Listening Sessions for students, faculty, and staff to share their experiences, feelings, and opinions on what it’s like to be a part of our university community, and how WWU can better support you as the valued members of the community that you all are. We’ll start here and build from there:
- Do you feel welcome at Western?
- Do you feel heard by Western?
- How could Western better support you?
We hope that you all find the time to join one of the many upcoming sessions. Your voices are critical to building a stronger, healthier, more supportive community. Information on when and where to participate is below. Share your experiences and be a part of changing our community for the better.
