FAQs for Fall Commencement

December 14, 2019 in the Carver Academic Facility

Each student will receive 4 tickets. These tickets are used for seating in the Carver Academic Facility. We have a set number of seats in our venue and ticket numbers are based on this capacity limitation.

Due to the size of this graduating class, there will be no extra tickets this quarter. Arntzen Hall 100 will be open for guests without tickets. The event will be live streamed onto a theater screen in this location. The building is near the gymnasium and will have an additional shuttle stop for guests using this space.

The commencement team has reserved seating (first come, first seated) for guests with mobility limitations and unable to climb stairs, for guests in a wheelchair, and for guests who need sign language interpretation. Early seating is available beginning at 8:30 a.m. for a guests needing accommodations - this is extended to the guests plus one companion.

Another option is parking in our disability parking zone in lot 17G and lot 11G. However, this lot is still a 5 minute walk to the gym. These lots may suit those with mobility devices (wheelchairs and scooters) best.
