The Commencement Reservation Form can be found online the first week of the quarter. The deadline for making your reservation is November 8. Reservations received after November 8 will be assessed a $20 late handling fee.

Apparel & Tickets Pickup (Photo ID required*)

Apparel & Ticket Prior to Commencement Day - Graduation Celebration | Thursday, December 12 | Time: 12 pm - 3 pm | Location: VU 565.

Tickets on Commencement Day - Carver Ticket Booth will open at 8:30am.

Apparel on Commencement Day - Saturday, December 14 | 8:30 am - 9:45 am | Alumni table in SMATE

If you have questions about picking up your apparel, contact staff at WWU Alumni Association at 360-650-3353.

*Please be prepared to present photo ID to pick up tickets. If you are unable to pick up your tickets, a friend may do so for you. You must provide your friend with a signed note that states the name of the person who is to pick up the tickets. The named person must present his or her photo ID.

Graduate Lineup/Name Cards on Commencement Day

Baccalaureate students arrive to the SMATE building by 9:15 a.m. Find your college post and ask for your name card.

Graduate students arrive to the Carver building by 9:15 a.m. You will enter via the back doors either on the north (Bond Hall side) or south (SMATE side). Once in the hallway, find the Graduate School for your name card.

Admission Tickets

Each student signing up for the quarter will receive 4 guest tickets. Seating in the Carver Gymnasium is limited. It is highly recommended that your guests arrive early as seating is first come, first served. All guests should be seated 5 minutes before the posted time of the ceremony. When the procession beings, all guest entrances are closed during this time and will reopen when the procession is complete.

We do not sell tickets for commencement. Due to the size of this graduating class, there will be no extra tickets available. Please know that comfortable seating is available in Arntzen Hall 100 for guests without tickets. We will stream a live feed onto the theatre screen at this location.

Guests with wheelchair and mobility limitations have limited seating in Carver. Designated areas have been reserved for these guests but space is on a first come, first serve basis.
