Course Evaluations (Student Feedback)
Course evaluations are used to improve the quality of teaching and learning at Western Washington University through direct student feedback. Responses received from course evaluations provide information on students' perceptions of their learning outcomes, course activities, and the instructor's engagement and effectiveness. This feedback will help guide changes in future iterations of the course and/or the instructor's teaching.

In-Class Course Evaluations
In-class, paper-and-pencil course evaluation packets are designed for standard on-campus courses. Each form has a slightly different set of questions designed to meet the needs of various class formats (review available form options). Additionally, faculty have the option to ask up to five customized questions of their own design for in-class evaluations.
Once logged in, you must repeat the order process for each in-person class you wish to evaluate.
Online Course Evaluations
Online evaluations are designed specifically for distance-learning courses. Upon ordering an online course evaluation, the system will create the evaluation for your class and email you the course evaluation link to provide your students.
It is the responsibility of the faculty to provide the student instructions (sent by email) to their students, via e-mail, Canvas, or other means. You will also be sent a link that will allow you to monitor how many students have responded, which will assist you in encouraging students to complete the evaluation.
Prior to logging in to order online evaluations, you will need to know the CRN (five digit Course Reference Number) and total course student enrollment. This information can be found on ClassFinder.
