Student/Visitor Housing

The Shannon Point Marine Center offers low cost housing to individuals or groups connected with our academic programs or official guests of the Marine Center. Priority is given to groups or programs of the University, therefore individual use is on a space available basis.

The residential facilities consist of a 12-room dormitory. Each individual room contains two beds, a closet/dresser area, and a desk. Each pair of rooms shares a common bathroom. Highspeed internet access is available in each room.

The Commons area contains a kitchen with 5 refrigerators, two microwaves, two stoves, two sinks, a dishwasher, and cookware and utensils for dormitory residents. Residents are responsible for preparing their own meals. No meal service is available.

Adjoining the kitchen is a lounge area that has a computer with internet access, a television, stereo, and other recreational amenities. A washer and dryer are available in the Residential area for use by Shannon Point dormitory residents.

Students and/or visitors should complete a Housing Application form to request use of the residential facilities.
