7. Evaluation of Teaching Overview

Teaching excellence is a learning process, and just like student learning can be assessed and improved, faculty of all experience levels can benefit from effective assessment and professional development. This section of the teaching handbook addresses multiple ways instructor effectiveness can be assessed and documented as well as identifying opportunities for growth and development. An important element of faculty development is celebrating success, so we also offer some information about excellent teaching happening at Western Washington University.
