- Center for Instructional Innovation & Assessment WWU's teaching and learning center providing professional development, resources, course assessment, and consulting services to instructors
- Center for Service Learning Course support for service-learning, volunteer opportunities, faculty fellows programs, international service-learning programs, and special events
- Dialogue Series - a series of discussion papers dealing with topics that are central to the educational mission of the University

- First Year Programs - Western Washington University has created special first year academic programs designed to facilitate the transition of new students to college. There are two options available at WWU:
- FIGs: First-year Interest Groups - This program is designed to improve the learning experience of first-year students. Instructors involved in the program receive pedagogical and technological support for course development. For additional information, see Ann Carlson's 2001 thesis, "Did I Learn Anything?" - FYE courses: First Year Experience Courses - are small, stand-alone courses offered by departments for academic credit (as either a GUR or an elective) for freshmen only.
- Human Resources Training and Development - provides comprehensive technical training to WWU faculty and staff. Class schedules, objectives and registration information are available on their website.
- Learning Commons, Western Libraries A collaborative space both online and across the second floor of the Library that brings together teaching and learning resources
- Mathematics Center - provides free tutoring for Western students in courses such as the calculus sequence, linear algebra, statistics, and differential equations. The Mathematics Center is located on the second floor of Bond Hall 211A & 234.
- Office of Student Life Help for students with policies, procedures, grievances, leaves of absence, hardship withdrawals, and student conduct issues
- For Faculty & Staff, faculty are often the first to notice when a student is struggling or in distress. Faculty are encouraged to know the resources available at Western Washington University and speak directly to the student to acknowledge their distress and connect them with these resources.
- Reporting a Concern or Complaint, to share complaints related to a particular Western Washington University student, visit the Office of Student Life to complete the necessary steps.
- Office of Survey Research, conducts surveys, collects and analyzes data, and writes reports related to student behavior, student performance, and University performance
- Research & Sponsored Programs
- Teaching-Learning Academy Forum that sponsors the scholarship of teaching and learning, biweekly dialogue with faculty, students, administrators, and staff, as well as workshops and events
- Testing Center - coordinates the administration of standardized tests at Western
- Student Evaluations of Teaching provide faculty members with student feedback about their courses, and often are used to provide evidence of the quality of teaching in personnel actions such as tenure and promotion.
- Scoring Services provides machine scoring of standard "bubble" answer sheets, provides instructors with detailed reports on student scores, keeps a quarterly cumulative file of student numbers, names, and scores by class, and generates a number of useful statistical reports.
- Tutoring Center - a free resource for Western students; tutoring is available for many GUR courses as well as for a variety of study skills topics.
- United Faculty of Western Washington Representation of all eligible faculty in bargaining, grievances, employment matters, improving employment standards, encouraging cooperation among members, and promoting the interest of those served by the faculty
- University Catalog Policies, most recent courses and programs of study, requirements for general education, writing, degrees, and graduation, and departmental and college information

- Western Libraries: Faculty Services Books, videos, database access, course reserves, document delivery, research support, subject librarian support
- Writing Instruction Support Assistance to faculty who are teaching writing courses or who use writing in their courses and offers print and online resources
