Welcome. The Fall issue of our Newsletter highlights both national and local resources focused on preventing and responding to sexual violence. October is Disability History Month in Washington, and we share information about employing people with disabilities and Western’s Emergency Evacuation Guidelines for People with Disabilities. The Newsletter also provides information about trainings offered by the Equal Opportunity Office, including an update about our Sexual Harassment Prevention Training program. Finally, we highlight two resources provided by our office -- a guide to Equity and Inclusion in Hiring for hiring authorities and search committees, and the latest edition of Western’s Diversity Handbook.
