Fulbright-Hays Project Abroad Scholarship for Programs in China

Provides financial assistance to students participating in the Chinese language programs offered by the IEE Centers at Peking University, East China Normal School, Nanjing University, and National Chengchi University. Candidates must be juniors, seniors, or graduate students who have completed the equivalent of 2 years of college-level Mandarin Chinese language training by the beginning of the program and plan to pursue a teaching career in modern foreign language or area studies.

Global Studies Foundation provides supplemental funds for American students who are already studying abroad under the auspices of an official study abroad program conducted by an accredited academic institution. The scholarship is intended to support foreign language training and other academic studies, and the foundation is particularly interested in funding the study of strategically significant countries and languages.
