In celebration of student scholarship and creativity, Scientific Technical Services is holding the 4th Annual Student Scanning Electron Microscope Digital Image Competition. SciTech is currently seeking entries for the contest and exhibition. Students from all departments are encouraged to participate.
The 2009 Student SEM Competiton will run April 6-May 15. During this period SciTtech will offer training workshops for new users. More information about the competition is available below and in ES 508. Printing and mounting supplies are availalbe in ES508.
Entry deadline: 5pm Friday May 15th
All entries will be displayed Thursday and Friday, May 21-22 at the University Scholars Poster Session in the Library Reading Rooms from 10 am-2 pm. Winners will be announced at this time. Entries will also be featured in an exhibit at Mindport in downtown Bellingham. The Mindport exhibit will be in June, exact dates are to be determined.
