Motorist Assistance Program (M.A.P)
Permits are required in all lots, as posted on the signs at the entrance of each lot. Parking meters require payment all hours. Parking is available at no charge, Monday – Friday after 4:30PM and all day on weekends in the south end gravel lots (C/12A/CR). Reserved spaces and resident lots are restricted and may only be used by those who have been assigned to those spaces/areas.

Faculty/Staff Viking Xpress bus passes are available through the Sustainable Transportation Office.

Disability spaces are located throughout campus and are available to those with state disability permits. A WWU disability permit is also required Monday - Friday from 7AM to 4:30PM, at the same rate as a regular permit. Accessibility Guides to the WWU campus are available at the Parking Services Office.
Visitors to the campus may park in metered lots (with meter payment), purchase a visitor permit at the Parking Services Office, or use operational pay stations.
Payment or the use of a valid permit is required for evening (after 4:30 pm) and weekend parking in G lots. For lots restricted all hours contact Parking Services, for permit options and information.
Signed loading zones do not require a permit and are located throughout campus. Load zones are limited to 20 minutes. Employees or students who have an occasional need to use their vehicle in areas of campus for which they do not have a permit (such as loading equipment/or quick deliveries), may obtain a short-term permit from Parking Services at no charge (permit valid for 20 minutes). Access is based on space availability, for after -ours service contact University Police at 650-3555.

- Jump Starts (For dead car batteries)
- Vehicle Lockouts (when you lock your keys in your car)
- Fix-a-Flat (can of tire sealant when a spare is not available)
- Gas (supply you enough to get to a local gas station)
For assistance call University Police at 650-3555 (all hours). If you are dialing from a campus phone, dial the 4-digit extension 3555. In order to send out assistance, the dispatcher will need your location. Emergency phones are located throughout the campus.
