Our MS in Computer Science program prepares students for productive careers in industry, academia, and government. We foster a nourishing, inclusive environment for teaching, learning, and research in the theory and applications of computing.
I was able to explore many areas of research, including machine learning, bioinformatics, and data science, to find what interested me. I had the opportunity to connect with many faculty and students who share my passions for data and research. I discovered my love for data science and data ethics.

Our MBA program is an interdisciplinary enterprise management program delivered over five quarters starting every June. Technical, managerial, and leadership curricula are combined with a startup-, growth-, and pivot-focused consulting capstone to build a comprehensive foundation for career growth.

Mathematics, MS
Our MS in Mathematics program is small enough to allow personal interaction between students and faculty but large enough for flexibility in catering to student interests in pure math, various applied topics, computer science, statistics, and/or mathematical physics.
The size of Western’s MS in Mathematics program and the unique opportunity for full funding through a TAship were the primary things that attracted me to grad school at WWU.
The grad classes are small. You make a lot of direct contact, and it’s all very approachable, but the rigor is definitely there!

Master of Music, MM
Our Master of Music degree consists of a core of courses which serve as a common foundation and a set of more specialized courses in one of five concentrations: composition, music history and literature, performance, conducting, and music education.
The composition faculty at Western are all great composers, teachers, and mentors. They don't just teach theory, harmony, form, analysis and whatnot; they teach how to think musically.
