Habitat for Humanity

This is a service opportunity to help build affordable housing with Habitat for Humanity. Volunteers will work with our construction team to create more affordable housing in Whatcom County. Tasks will range depending on skill and ability. Our team will ensure that everyone gets tasks that they are comfortable taking on. Be sure to wear open toed shoes!

Habitat for Humanity Telegraph Townhomes - 4017 Todd Lane (park across the street at 1059 Telegraph Rd, Bellingham.  

Time Commitment

Flexible, but 2+ hours is preferred  

Limitations

Most abilities can be accommodated, as long as there is advanced notification.

City of Bellingham, Little Squalicum Estuary project

The City of Bellingham is looking for volunteers to help plant native plants at the Little Squalicum Estuary project. This helps contribute to the projects overall goal of restoring 4.85 total acres of coastal habitat, including a 2.4-acre estuary.

Time Commitment

3 hours from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. on January 14, 2023

Limitations

Work will be outdoors, so wear appropriate shoes and clothes.
