How to Submit Official Transcripts to Western Washington University

To ensure timely processing of your transcript, make sure it is official, and sent to the correct office below.

Official Transcripts

  • A paper transcript is considered official when it is in a sealed school envelope, bears the authorizing school signature and the official seal of the issuing institution, and is mailed by the issuing institution or hand delivered by you. If the envelope has been opened, the transcript is not official.  
  • An electronic transcript is considered official when it is sent directly by your college, university or high school to Western Washington University (WWU). Forwarded emails will not be accepted.

High School Transcripts and Test Scores


All high school transcripts can be emailed by the high school to admissions.documents@wwu.edu. High schools that partner with Naviance/Parchment, Scoir or Scribbles can use these services to send official transcripts electronically.
