Technology & Engineering Career Fair 2022

The Career Services Center collaborates with campus departments to host a variety of quarterly career & internship fairs, with a mission of empowering the Western Community to explore, to connect and to create their future.

Register (on Handshake) for the WWU Career & Internship Fair | Technology & Engineering | Thursday, November 3, 2022 11AM-2PM, Viking Union Multi-Purpose Room (MPR), Western Washington University campus

Promote jobs and internships to Western Students and Graduates representing over 200 majors. This is a great opportunity to connect with potential candidates, discuss hiring needs, the application process, company culture and why students/alumni should consider YOUR organization!

Registration Fees*:

$400 Corporate
$300 Government (city, state and federal agencies)
$100 non-profit

Registration (for all) includes:

Table (1) + Chairs (2) (table linens are not provided)
Parking and Shuttle Transport to event venue on campus
Sandwich buffet lunch

NEW! 15-minute Employer Showcase (Limited space, available at registration for additional fee)

How do I sign up? Registration is open on Handshake, please log into your account, and if WWU is among your favorite schools, search for the WWU Career & Internship Fair | Technology & Engineering, and sign up by clicking the + Register blue button.

Help! My organization does not have an account in Handshake! Employers can establish a free user account on Handshake by clicking here, and then follow the steps to request to add WWU as a favorite school. Once these processes are completed, you will be able to sign up by clicking the + Register blue button from the WWU Career & Internship Fair event page.

After I register, will WWU send out updates about this event? Yes! As part of your registration confirmation, you will receive some helpful links, reminders and we will continue to send periodic updates to all registrants -so you are ready to have a successful recruiting experience at WWU!

  • This event is a collaboration between the Career Services Center, the Computer Science Department and the Engineering & Design Department.

The Computer Science Department offers five degrees:

  • Computer Science (BS and MS)
  • Data Science (BS)
  • Cybersecurity (BS)
  • Computer Science/Secondary Education (BAE)

Our Computer Science degree is ABET accredited and our Cybersecurity program is recognized by the NSA as a Center of Academic Excellence (NSA CAE).


The Engineering & Design Department offers four degrees:

  • Electrical and Computer Engineering
  • Manufacturing Engineering
  • Polymer Materials Engineering
  • Industrial Design

Our engineering degrees are ABET accredited and the Industrial Design program is accredited by NASAD.
