For over twenty years, Western has offered students the opportunity to earn a degree in Bremerton.

Today, Western offers flexible degree programs in educational leadership, and teacher education with an emphasis on early childhood and inclusive environments. Classes are held at Olympic College. Online courses are available through WesternOnline, along with an online Human Services degree. Military tuition assistance is also available to qualified individuals.

Degree, Certificate and Endorsement Programs in Bremerton

Education, B.A. with Dual Endorsements in Elementary and Special Education
Learn how to become a teacher with Western’s teacher education outreach programs. Dual endorsements in elementary and special education are available along with an option of a Post-Baccalaureate Residency Teacher Certificate.

Early Childhood Education, B.A.
Candidates aspiring to work in childcare centers, preschools, Head Start programs, or receive a P-3 teacher endorsement can earn credentials in Early Childhood Education to follow a sequence of professional certification courses that lead to a license in teaching.

Educational Leadership, M.Ed. and Certifications
Students can pursue their passion and prepare for a career in school or district leadership with a masters degree in educational administration. Principal or superintendent certification opportunities are available.

Human Services, B.A.
One of Western’s only online degree, this program prepares students for a wide-range of careers with a driving commitment to equity, social justice and opportunities for all. Past graduates have found jobs as case managers, advocates, grant writers, youth workers, volunteer coordinators, fundraisers, trainers, para-educators, and advocacy specialists for victims of child abuse, domestic violence, homelessness, or other social issues.

Multidisciplinary Studies, B.A.
A popular option for those who have an accumulation of college credits, such as military personnel or those who have recently moved to Kitsap County and want to complete a Bachelors degree.  This customizable degree program builds upon an applicant’s accumulation of earned college credits and interests. Flexible face-to-face and online course options are available for students in Bremerton.
