QTPOC Community Gatherings

Join us every second and fourth Tuesday at 4 PM in VU 740 for QTPOC Community Gatherings! This is a drop-in space for queer and trans students of color to find support through social connection, co-hosted by LGBTQ+ Western and the Counseling and Wellness Center.

Creative Writing Workshops

Are you interested in creative writing? Do you have ideas for creative writing projects you want to start or notes for something you are already working on? Drop by one of the Hacherl Research & Writing Studio’s Creative Writing Workshops, held twice a week throughout spring quarter beginning Monday, April 8 through Finals Week at the end of the quarter.

 

On Mondays the workshops will be held from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m. in the Kitto Graduate Student Hub, and on Thursdays they are scheduled from 2:00 to 3:00 p.m. in Haggard Hall 210.

 

Western Washington University and Washington Research Foundation partner on new Western Innovation Training Fellowship

<p>Seattle, Washington — Many of the technologies that have revolutionized our modern world originated from academic research. However, navigating the process of bringing a new technology to the commercial market can be challenging for academic researchers. The new Western Innovation Training Fellowship program at Western Washington University (WWU), made possible through a $200,000 programmatic grant from Washington Research Foundation (WRF), hopes to equip promising students and professors with the knowledge and tools they need to navigate this complex transition.</p>
