Pillars of Wellbeing

About the Collaborative

The Wellbeing Collaborative (WC) is a group of students, staff, and faculty who seek to chart a path forward for Western as a health promoting institution. In 2022, the WC adopted 4 pillars to organize around:

  1. Accessibility, Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion,
  2. Culture of Health and Wellbeing,
  3. The Built Environment, and
  4. Sustainability.

Through collaborative strategizing and implementation, the WC supports Western’s commitment to move toward more systems-level strategies that influence the health and wellbeing of every member of the Western community.
